Location, Facilities & Operations
Strategically located to the east of London, Amtest UK operates from a purpose-built laboratory in Canning Town, designed specifically for materials testing and concrete performance evaluation.
Our facility has been engineered for flexibility and future growth, enabling us to expand our testing capabilities in line with client demand and emerging industry standards.
In addition to our main laboratory, Amtest UK maintains a dedicated storage facility in Essex, providing efficient logistical support and sample management for ongoing projects across the region.
With a wide operational area, we support projects throughout London, the South East, and nationwide as required.
Our Background
Amtest UK began operations supporting Keltbray on a six-month testing contract — a partnership that quickly grew as project demands increased.
As our reputation for accuracy, responsiveness, and innovation developed, Amtest UK went on to win the site-wide testing tender for the Riverlinx project, providing full material testing support throughout construction.
Following completion, we relocated into our Canning Town Laboratory, continuing to serve the industry with cutting-edge testing solutions.
Beyond commercial projects, Amtest UK plays an active role in shaping the future of sustainable construction.
Our Managing Director is the Chair of the Low Carbon Concrete Group, and Amtest regularly advises Government and international organisations on best practices for efficient and low-carbon concrete design.
